Article XIII – Section 13

Mines and Mineral Resources. – Subject to the provisions of the Constitution and national laws, the Bangsamoro Government shall have the authority and jurisdiction over the exploration, development , and utilization of mines and minerals in its territorial jurisdiction, taking into consideration environmental protection and ecological balance. The Bangsamoro Government shall have the power to grant permits, licenses, and contracts for this purpose.
