Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations. – Upon coordination with the National Government, the Parliament shall have the power to create government-owned or controlled corporations in compliance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10149, otherwise known as the ” GOCC Governance Act of 2011” by a grant of legislative charter or under Batas Pambansa Blg. 68, otherwise known as ” The Corporation Code of the Philippines:” Provided, That those duly registered with the Securities Exchange Commission may likewise operate outside the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
The Parliament may create pioneer firms and other business entities to boost economic development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
