Article X – Section 16

Creation of New Offices. – The Parliament may create a Shari’ah public assistance office, a Shari’ah special prosecution service, a Shari’ah academy, and the Office of the Jurisconsult of Islamic Law. Pending the creation of the Shari’ah special prosecution service, the existing national prosecution service of the Department of Justice shall prosecute criminal cases before the Shari’ah courts.
